The new Ocean Signal EPIRB3 is a fully equipped 406 MHz rescue beacon that comes with a manual release device and offers a variety of functions in a compact, modern design, including AIS technology. AIS provides precise and reliable information about the beacon's current position to the rescue teams on site, speeding up rescue operations. In addition, the Return Link Service (RLS) confirms to those who activate the beacon that their emergency call has been received. The integrated Near Field Co mmunication (NFC) function allows the use of a smartphone app to monitor the EPIRB battery and other functions to ensure it is working properly.
